The Difference
Kustom Cockpits was created by racers looking for more support and confidence under hard braking going into a corner. Rider tendency is to lock arms and support their bodyweight with pressure on the handle bars. There are tips and tricks to help prevent. Those require more energy and concentration. There are also other motorcycle parts and accessories out there. But they didn't work for the kustom cockpit designers. So Tom and Anthony decided to make their own. After a lot of trial and error they came up with something that really worked for them. A 3D printed tank extender. As other riders saw the results interest grew. Once other riders asked if they could buy one they knew they where on to something. A lot of time was spent tring to find a way to produce their tank extenders and keep the price affordable. Now that they have solved that part of the puzzle kustom cockpits was launched.
Riders and racers are always looking for a advantage. These motorcycle tank extenders are exactly that for the kustom cockpits designers. They hope it is for you too!
I rode with one on an R1 at Barber, I was really surprised how well I could stay anchored to the bike with outside leg. This sport’s hard enough, this is a nice aid to let your body steer the bike more efficiently, without fatiguing yourself as quickly.

I recently bought one of your tank extenders. While your target demographic is probably people who are already fast. I have to say as a 2:02 at Pitt and 1:23 at Summit, that it has helped my cornering a ton. Obviously I wasn’t trying to brag. I was just saying it has really helped my body position.
